Sky Peak Technologies joins Greening of Streaming

Greening of Streaming (GoS), the global member-led organization working to make
streaming more sustainable and energy efficient, welcomes Sky Peak Technologies (SPT),
developer of the CORA AI mobile video traffic optimisation platform, as a new member.
CORA AI uses dynamic multi-input intelligence to normalize mobile video traffic in real time,
reducing unnecessary data transmission and peak network demand while preserving the
viewer experience. Operators and platforms can recover capacity within their existing
network infrastructure, handling growing volumes of streaming video and extending the life
and value of existing network infrastructure.
SPT's motivation for joining GoS starts from a simple premise: the continued growth of digital demand shouldn't require a proportional growth in the infrastructure and energy needed to support it. Through membership, the company also wants to quantify CORA AI's energy impact, rather than rely on assumptions about the effect it's having.
