IABM and Greening of Streaming reciprocate membership to collaborate on industry sustainability

Greening of Streaming - (www.greeningofstreaming.org) today welcomes IABM as a new member to foster collaboration throughout the broadcast engineering community and supply chains and to collectively develop deeper understanding around streaming, sustainability and energy efficiency.


In reciprocation Greening of Streaming has become an affiliate member of The IABM and will help promote energy efficiency as a primary KPI in systems architecture considerations where relevant to the IABMs community.


Stan Moote, CTO at the IABM, who will be the liaison contact with GoS, noted "Many hear about sustainability, however it is difficult to fight through the aspects that actually can make an impact.


"IABM is collaborating with Greening of Streaming to assists its members to better understand various options and also provide member feedback into the organization."


Dom Robinson, Founder of Greening of Streaming, who will be the liaison for GOS at the IABM, noted "IABM has been supporting us and helping us to engage the industry on this topic for some time now, and so it is great to go some way to formalising the efforts and to establish this important liaison between our focus areas. As we head to the end of our industry consultation for our LESS Accord project it is great to have the IABM's depth and reach support our call for ideas!"
